Between Earth and Sky is an immersive, interactive yoga and sound bath experience encouraging playful embodiment and ambient meditation through 4K projection mapping. Through body and object tracking, participants activate flow emitters, sparkles, and heart-centered chakras in an immersive dichroic landscape. Similarly, the yoga teacher activates and changes the dichroic landscape via voice-activated prompts such as “between earth and sky” and audio-activated sound baths, cycling through mountains, sky, and twinkling night stars. Quarterly, I introduce new experiments, such as breath tracking, heart rate tracking, and edge detection, landscapes based on local seasonal flora, and new interactions and visuals to create a unique experience for each class.
