Interactive Projection installation exploring pelvic floor Pain and healing commissioned by Hope rising Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy FOR Their Opening Launch

This piece explores cell renderings of pelvic floor pain conditions, such as PCOS, POP, and endometriosis and healing anatomy to celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony of Hope Rising Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. It was projection mapped onto a wall with an interactive element in front. Pulsing and crackling elements exemplify the feeling of cramping and pain, and are based on pulsing pain data, while sparkling and colorful elements reveal examples of healed and well-functioning anatomy and celebration. Interactive elements included a dial and touch sensor incorporated via Arduino into TouchDesigner to “turn up the pain” or “promote healing” to create a fully immersive experience.
