Synesthetic Flora explored live songwriter-driven visuals through emotional and audio analysis for Warren Records Misfits III showcase at Riches Art Gallery. A customized speech-to-text and sentiment analysis node system in TouchDesigner generated emotional intensity and quadrants for each lyrical stanza, which I then transformed into an ever-evolving brightness, color, and shape palette to animate 2D and 3D scans of local wildflowers. Emotion analysis and audio analysis also drove the color, shape, and animation of artist-selected 3D models, including a butterfly, tree and whale. In tandem, these elements created unique yet unified projection for each artist in the showcase.
